If you noticed a long line of classic cars driving through Salina last night, you weren’t alone.
About 75 cars, both new and old, made it out for last night’s weekly Thursday cruise, resulting in an impromptu car show near the Dairy Queen on North Ninth Street.
It’s the 10th anniversary for the group and last night’s cruise was capped off with a concert.
The group meets at 6 p.m. each Thursday at Wendy’s in south Salina near Schilling and Ninth Streets, then departs at 7 p.m. for a cruise through town. The route changes each week, depending on the lead car. But it always ends up at the Dairy Queen on Ninth Street near downtown around 8 p.m.
