A Saline County Sheriff’s Office deputy located a stolen pickup Saturday during a routine check of a west Salina motel.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said while one of his deputies was circling through the parking lot of the Quality Inn and Suites, 2110 W. Crawford, Saturday evening the deputy noticed a 1997 Ford F-150 parked in more than one space in an area where employees typically park. When the deputy ran the Colorado license plate, the truck was reported as stolen.

Employees of the hotel told law enforcement the truck was parked in the same location for about two months.
