SOUND OFF

 

1. My friend just got back to Salina last Friday after serving a tour in Afganastan. Someone broke into his car last night and stole pretty much everything he owned. It sickens me that he is serving our country and that is what people do with their freedom.

2. The El Atoron Mexican Restaurant on Santa Fe is so good and you can’t beat their prices! Love that place. We go once a week.

3. Salina post rocks!

4. I want to kick out a great compliment to Jerry Hinrikus and Randy Picking on 910 radio. I also think Clarke Sanders does a pretty decent job on 1150 radio. I like both perspectives on Crossfire with Nancy and Clarke. Salina is very very fortunate to have the two different political shows.

5. This guy, the Democrats are calling him a leader…what has this guy done in his 3 and a half years in office? Gas prices have doubled, groceries are almost double, with price of milk and cereal stuff like that. The guy’s had a downgrade in the economy 3 years in a row, where the government has paid out more money than it has taken in, $5.8 trillion in debt added  to the deficit. This is his, the only thing that was spent before was the $1.8 trillion on the wars, and he continued on by adding more troops to Afghanistan. This guy can’t lay it back on Bush. This guy is darn sure not a leader, he has decimated our economy. If the Obamacare holds up, by the time he gets reelected our national debt will be $21.6 trillion. Our GDP is about $16 trillion. You can’t have a debt more than GDP.

6. I think this is a much better idea than the 333 line of  the Journal. Much easier, much friendlier, better idea all the way around, way to go guys.

7. I really really miss the 333 line.  I don’t even wanna read my paper in the mornings.
