Vandals and thieves hit two home under construction in east Salina.

Between 8pm Friday night and 8am Saturday morning, someone kicked in a door to a home under construction at 1308 Larkspur and threw paint on walls and windows in several rooms, and also took several tools including an air compressor.

Loss and Damage placed at $14,563.

Between 6pm Saturday and 10am Sunday, some forced open a walk through door to a garage of a home under construction at 2114 Columbine, and removed several tools.

Loss and Damage placed at $1,800.
