An engagement ring was stolen from an unlocked car, Friday afternoon.

According to Salina Police, Ryan Haworth, of Salina, parked his ’98 Chevy Cavalier in a business lot at 1900 S. Broadway around 3pm and upon returning to the car, 40 minutes later, he discovered the 3/4 karat princess cut, diamond engagement ring was gone.

The ring was valued at $3,000.
