A young teenage girl reports to Salina Police that a teen male stole her iPod from while she was at the playground at Oakdale Elementary School, Tuesday afternoon.

The girl says a Hispanic male about 100 lbs, in dark clothing, began talking to her. When she took her iPod out of her pocket, the suspect grabbed it and took off running.

The incident occurred about 12:20pm.

Loss placed at $300.
