I-70 Traffic Stop Leads To Marijuana Arrest

A traffic stop leads to a drug arrest early Wednesday morning near the Saline/Dickinson County line on I-70.

About 4:40am a Saline County deputy clocked an eastbound, 2001 Malibu heading going 86 mph.

The deputy pulled the car over and during the stop did a check of the car and found .78 pounds of marijuana, along with THC pop bottles and THC candy.

Arrested on drug charges that include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, no tax stamp, driving on a revoked drivers license from Tennessee, and speeding was 43-year-old Gary W. Hadley, who gave an address in Colorado Springs.

Two passengers in the car from Tennessee, were released and the car was impounded.
