The Saline County Sheriffs Office handed out more than 170 seat belt violation tickets during a recent, increased enforcement effort between May 21st and June 2nd.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says 177 seat belt violations were issued, along with 2 DUI arrest and 2 speeding tickets.

Deputies issued 22 other written or verbal warnings during the Special Traffic Enforcement Program.
