A Brookville man that was in a critical condition after a motorcycle accident Thursday, died at a Wichita hospital Monday.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol, a GMC truck was westbound on West Crawford at about 11:23 a.m. Thursday when the driver, 49-year-old Jose Teodulfo Acosta-Corrales of Kansas City, pulled out and broadsided an eastbound motorcycle on K-140.

The motorcycle driver, 40-year-old Christopher Scott Hays of Brookville, was transported to St. Francis in Wichita with injuries and burns after the motorcycle caught fire.

 

Acosta-Corrales was not injured in the accident.
