1. To the woman who told the cashier at Walmart to ring up my children’s stuff, I wish you would come forward so you could get a proper thank you! I know a thank you or glory is not what you are looking for, but I would like to hug your neck or at least shake your hand. You told them to pay it forward and my son is already looking for a good charity. Thank you for not only changing my mind, but proving to my son that when I say “Don’t give up in the world, there are still some good people left”…..he realizes there just may be!

2. Yeah this message is for Jerry, I’d like you to invite Nancy Hodges on your program, and take 1 hour to discuss politics. Further, I’d like to see which one of you gets up and walks out first.

3. Whereas Gary Swartzendruber has bet people a steak dinner that Obama is re-elected, I venture to say that I will bet anyone a $100 bill that Romney is elected.

4. We need more parking at the Bill Burke baseball fields or I’m going to start parking on the dike and make all the bicyclers mad.

5. I think that if some group is trying to get a petition signed to overturn the much needed, LGBT ordinance, then it should be public knowledge where they meet, so that we, who gladly support the ordinance, can protest what they are doing. Hey, LGBT community: Not all of Salina is against you! Written by a married heterosexual woman who is also a mother and a Christian.
