1. My son plays on a summer league freshmen bball team in this town. When I played, talent got you playing time not who you know. Now my boy is discouraged. It’s a damn shame when he gets singled out when other kids are worse. The coach is an idiot and doesn’t know jack about bball or teaching kids, only tearing them down.

3. So, when do u think the city will decide to widen East Cloud in front of the new Dillons, while it’s still under construction or after it opens?

4. So I see a lot about people in Salina not using blinkers. Well, I saw first hand why they don’t. It is hard to turn the blinker on when you are holding your cellphone to one ear and the other hand on the wheel.

5. I don’t understand all the anger over the LGBT issue. Both sides have valid points. It will go to a public vote and the majority side will win. No need for all the hate on both sides.

6. People need to learn to tip their waitresses. Our service can make or ruin your dining experience. So show some respect to those of us who treat our guests right. We have families to take care of just like you, and your $1.50 tip won’t go anywhere in Walmart.
