Cooler Wednesday With Chance Of Thunderstorms

One more hot day is expected across south central and southeast Kansas on Wednesday. However a cold front will move south into central Kansas by Wednesday afternoon, resulting in chances for showers and thunderstorms. A few strong storms with gusty winds and small hail will be possible. The chance for thunderstorms will spread south across the entire area by Wednesday night with slightly cooler temperatures expected on Thursday.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 95. Breezy, with a south wind between 20 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 73. Breezy, with a south wind between 21 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
