Franklin George Tatro, 75, of Glasco, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 18th, at his residence.

Franklin was born in Rural Cloud County, Kansas on November 26, 1936, to the late Agnes (Thyfault) and Victor  Tatro, Sr.

He was the husband of Theresa  (Baltazor) Tatro and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Laura Taylor and her fiance Gary Anderson of Beverly, Kansas, two sons Terence Tatro, of Glasco, Kansas; David Tatro and his companion Tracy Blackstock, of Salina, Kansas; brother, Robert Tatro of Ellsworth, Kansas; Sisters, Charlotte Gilbert of Huntsville, Arkansas, Victoria Gilbert of Jamestown, Kansas, Lena Webster of Delphos, Kansas; Very special friend, Debbie Roberts of Miltonvale, Kansas, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two children, LeRoy and Albert Lee, three brothers, Victor Jr., Edward, and Leonard; and three sisters, Margaret Mettler, Emeline Johnson, and Clara Thorpe.

At the family’s request there will be no services as cremation has taken place.

Donald E. Hickman, 80, Minneapolis, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Don was born October 22, 1931 in Lincoln County to Austin and Irene (Pierce) Hickman.

He was united in marriage with Amaryllis Y. Parson on February 18, 1951 in Barnard. Together they owned and operated Big Valley Meats in Barnard and he also farmed.

Survivors include his wife Amaryllis of Minneapolis; children Wesley Hickman and his wife Janice of McPherson, Bryan Hickman and his wife Terrie of Minneapolis, and Dawn Stephens and her husband Richard of Salina; brothers Vernon Hickman of Barnard and Dean Hickman of Salina; sisters Lois Pixler of Salina and Laura Godsey of Ponca City, OK; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

It was Don’s wishes to be cremated and that there be no services. Memorials may be made to the Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467 to assist with expenses.
