After an on going investigation of suspected illegal drug activity, the tactical team of the Riley County Police Department has arrested a 55-year-old Manhattan man on several drug related charges.

RCPD officials conducted a search warrant around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at 517 Kearney, the residence of Robert Young. Police arrested Young on suspicion of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute 1,000 feet from a school, no drug tax stamp, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted bond.

Police say 240 grams of marijuana was seized from the residence.
