SOUND OFF

1. Why all the whining about fireworks? Seemed to have gone very well. No homes burnt down and no injuries to speak of.

2. Noticed a fire next door on the 4th in the grass.. We all got together and put it out before the fire department came.. Same thing happened in another neighborhood.. Did you all know that? Sounds pretty responsible to me!

3. I feel the need to be armed every time I walk into the Salina Walmart, and disinfected every time I walk out.

4. Is there a law the prevents cops from setting up a checkpoint right outside the parking lot of bars? Seems like it would be a simple way to prevent drunk driving.

5. I can’t decide which is worse, Obama or Romney? Seems like we don’t have a whole lot of options here. It’s time for a third party.
