A 26-year-old Salina man was jailed early Thursday morning on charges of vehicle burglary and felony interference with law enforcement.

At 12:35am Police were sent to the area of the 900-block of Cedar, after a witness saw someone going through cars.

Officers saw a person who matched the description of the suspect, and when they tried to stop him to talk, he began running and was finally caught in the 400-block of Montrose.

Arrested was James T. Valleroy.
