Cash and jewelry were taken in home burglary Friday afternoon.

Rita Cooper says while she was out in her backyard between 3:00-4:30pm Friday afternoon, someone entered her home in the 500-block of Crestview and took cash and jewelry.

The jewelry included rings and earrings.

Loss is placed at $3,948.
