1. The Colorado shooting is just an example of a bad thing happening. No matter what we try, we’ll never be able to prevent every bad thing from happening. That’s just how this world works.

2. Has anybody else heard that Philip’s Lighting is closing? Not sure if this was just a random rumor or not!

3. I was raised with the idea that it is polite to hold doors open for others, especially women. It really irks me when people do not even have the decency to say thank you!

4. I think the police department should be able to monitor parking lots outside the bar and give out breathalyzers before people get in their cars. Way too many drunk drivers around here.

5. What we really need in Salina is a Buffalo Wild Wings!
