SOUND OFF

1. Traffic laws are being broken left and right at South Middle School during morning drop off. Cars are jockeying for position, flooring the gas pedal, sliding side ways, you name it. I’ve seen less aggressive demolition derbies. Someone is going to get hurt if this doesn’t stop soon!

2. What is that new building on Iron Street next to Oakdale School for? The generators they put in there are huge!

3. Are the fleas immune to everything this year?  What works?

4. I say again, Walmart let them do it again. They deserve those TV’s.

5. I was just at the Hays Wal-mart and it’s seriously like the Taj Mahal compared to the Salina Wal-mart. I felt like a refugee from a third world country visiting the U.S. for the first time.

6. I’m so sick and tired of politics. Hey conservatives, you are wrong. Hey liberals, you are wrong. Conservatives had Bush and he was awful, liberals have Obama and he’s awful. So how about both sides exit the discussion. Go find something else to gripe about.

7. Ok, so our previous, brilliant, city commission spent over $200,000 on a stupid fake tree. It hasn’t even been delivered yet, so why can’t we cancel the order and get a refund? At least a partial refund?
