Update: The woman who picked up the money turned it in at the Salina Police Department Monday. She says she was not able to communicate to the clerk that she had found the money. No charges will be filed.
A rural Salina woman lost $750 in cash Saturday afternoon, after leaving a bank envelope with the money at a counter of a Salina Restaurant.
Sarah Miller said as she was paying for a meal and leaving Hong Kong Buffet at 2515 Market Place about 1:10pm, when she became distracted and left the envelope on the counter.
Miller returned about 15 minutes later when she realized she had left the money and it was gone.
Surveillance video shows the money was picked up by a white female with red hair, wearing a gray shirt, and blue jeans. The woman was with a white male medium build brown hair, in a gray shirt and camo shorts.
