A 20-year-old Salina man was caught in the act of trying to steal a vehicle from inside a dealership Wednesday night.

Police were sent to Money Automotive at 2222 S. 9th around 9:00pm, after a witness reported seeing someone inside the dealership that got in through a window on the north side of the building.

Found inside attempting to steal a 2005 GMC Denali, was Michael Money.

Also found inside the Denali was a pipe with methamphetamine residue.

Money was placed in jail on charges of burglary, attempted theft, possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
