SOUND OFF

1. I would pay extra to have the LGBT thing voted on early. I’m beyond sick and tired of hearing about it. There are only a few hundred issues that are more pressing than this.

2. I was just driving west on Crawford and had to stop at the light at Ohio, they were doing some work on Ohio so as you’re pulling up to the intersection it says No Left Turn, and when you get a little closer the sign stating that for the detour you are to turn left!  Really????

3. I’d like to take a moment to NOT talk about politics. I love this time of year! Not only the weather but my favorite holiday is Halloween! I’m so glad to see people already decorating for it. Have you guys seen the house on S. Fifth? If you haven’t, you are missing out! They have life sized (and very real looking) Freddy and Jason replicas in their front windows! I can’t wait to see if they are going to put more stuff up. Thank you, you may now proceed with your political comments.

4. I’m sure the public will do right by the LGBT, and everyone can forget this nonsense and move forward and know everything will be OK!!!

5. You know, I could live with higher taxes if it was being spent well. Unfortunately our government spends the money on idiotic silver trees, the waste of space Bi Center, and handouts for the lazy.

6. After another miserable year for the Royals, I was really looking forward to football season. Then I watched the Chiefs play. Now I’m looking forward to basketball. Thank god for KU.
