SOUND OFF

1. Is anyone else having water quality issues?  My water is rusty and smells like sewer water. We can’t drink it or cook with it.  Bathing is like being in a cesspool.  I’ve called water department. They keep flushing the hydrant but it comes back.  Any ideas what can be the problem? No refund on my water bill.

2. Really….you’re throwing the military in with the LGBT thing? No complaints have been filed therefore, no need for the ordinance! People aren’t being discriminated against, military or otherwise!

3. What do you liberals have to say about that peaceful religion known as Islam now? What a peaceful religion. More like a bunch of teens that think it’s ok to react violently every time someone says something they disagree with.

4. I’m glad to see that many others don’t care about the gay ordinance. The world would be a much better place if everybody just minded their own business.

5. Chicago teachers are striking when they are being paid $75,000 a year and turned down a 16% pay increase??? I think we teachers in Salina would throw a parade if we were making $75,000 a year.

6. If you want to make a real difference in this election, vote for a third party candidate – Gary Johnson. Romney is going to win Kansas, so it doesn’t matter. BUT, if Johnson can get a decent amount of votes, it will boost the possibility of a viable third party in 2016.

7. I hate to complain, but I really wish we had a nicer Wal-Mart. Salina is bigger than Hays or McPherson and they both have much nicer Wal-Marts than us.
