It was announced last night that Michael Savage, the controversial syndicated radio host of the evening show from 8pm to 11pm on 910-KINA, won his battle with the company Talk Radio Network and will no longer be on the radio.

Savage was a welcome addition to 910-KINA earlier this year and quickly grew in popularity.  His radio show is the 3rd most listened to show nationwide, and the second most streamed radio show on the internet.

Savage had taken his radio network, Talk Radio Network, to arbitration two years ago over what he called “unfair contract negotiations”.  His attorney, Daniel Horowitz, says savage was bullied by the negotiators and signed an unfair contract.

Upon the ruling last night, Savage posted on his website with a headline that read, simply, “Free at Last”.  Savage said, that although he will not be on the radio, he will continue to update his web-site and hopes to find a syndication partner soon, so he can get back on the radio.

910-KINA will evaluate the situation and decide what to do in the short term, but will also look to add Savage back to the line-up whenever he gets back on the radio.
