SOUND OFF
1. I wish this weather would continue forever, but we are in desperate need of a freeze. The bugs around here are awful!
2. I would like to know why none of the conservatives around here are talking about Strategic Allied Consulting, the firm hired by the GOP that got busted in Florida for submitting fraudulant voter registration forms? You should be outraged, considering all the voter suppression that is being done in so many states under the false claim of stamping out voting fraud. And here you have this firm, paid for by the Romney campaign, doing exactly that. This firm is operating in many states and under a couple different names. Why are you not DEMANDING they are fired from all of them, not just one or two.
3. Really Wal-mart!! It doesn’t take a genius to keep your shelves stocked and have enough cashiers available.
4. We just had one of our brave men and women of the Salina Police Dept. shot in the face. We have got a serious drug and crime problem in this town and Chief Hill seems to only concentrate on writing traffic tickets. I think Chief Hill’s priorities are just a little bit mixed up and I look forward to his coming resignation.
5. The great thing about the upcoming election won’t be the outcome, although that will be great. The greatest part about the upcoming election will be the fact that the losing party, will convince their base that they need to push harder to the fringes and that will ensure another great outcome in 2016. Clinton 2016 here we come.
6. I heard that the schools are actually checking the lunches that kids are bringing to school for sweets. Is that true? If so, I would like to hear anyone explain how we haven’t become a full fledged ‘nanny state’.
