Ohio Street from Schippel Road to Interstate Highway 70 will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, October 8th, to permit the application of a polymer overlay on the bridge over the Saline River.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations.

Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the section of closed Ohio Street at all times but only from the side of the bridge upon which the property lies.

The work on this bridge should be completed and the roadway reopened by late afternoon on Thursday, October 11th.
