Snow was covering the grass in Rawlins County and also snow could be seen on the ground along I-70 between Oakley and Goodland.
Snow was reported as far east as Hill City on Friday.
While snow is not expected further east in Kansas, Freezing temperatures are likely starting early Sunday morning across most of the northern half of the state.
Lows are expected to drop into the upper 20s around the Salina area.
Warmer weather is in the forecast beginning early next week.
