A 59-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Friday evening on charges of aggravated assault, battery, criminal threats and disorderly conduct.

Police were called to the 700-block of S. 2nd about 6:00pm on the report of a disturbance.

62-year-old Ray A. Whitlock had gotten into an argument with Richard L. Smith. Smith is alleged to have pushed Whitlock, pulled out a razor knife and threatened to kill Whitlock.

No one was injured.

Smith was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail.
