SOUND OFF

1. Being a Catholic, I cannot see how Ryan can align himself with Romney. Anybody whose religion thinks that American Indians were a long lost tribe of Israel- well, um.. wow. That’s incredible. You need to take a long hard look at the Mormon religion… they are a scary bunch. Thank you.

2. You know, I’m not a big fan of the politics being practiced by John Price. I believe you have evidence against somebody you bring it forward before making the allegation. Having said that, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that when my friends and I get together, we’ve often talked about what exactly is so important about this expo center that the county commissioners continue to try and shove this down people’s throats, even though we’ve spoken loud and clear multiple times over the last 10 years.

3. Okay, I made a comment, that McPherson County has the smoothest surface on I-135. My comment was also “hats off to McPherson County”, but I did not say that McPherson County did the work. I understand the state takes care of the interstate my comment was just saying that the smoothest surface, was in Mcpherson County.

4. I can’t believe how self important these politicians are. They love the sound of their own voices. And then there are the endless discussions and debates going on amongst the masses. Do you think talking will ever solve anything? What a waste of time. If there is a solution to the problems in the United States, it isn’t going to come through politics. Yes, there are good politicians, but they are as common as a Salina criminal without a neck tattoo – few and far between. If things do change, and your taxes get halved, and gas prices plummet- you will still find a reason to gripe and moan. That is just the nature of lazy and dependent people. Progress and growth will come from entrepreneurs, innovators, self starters, the industrious and hardworking; only they will get ahead.

5. The problems in this country are many, but I’ll tell you what. As far as causes go, a vast tea party conspiracy sure as hell ain’t one of em.

6. Why is there no Smoothie King in Salina? Hays has one and they are half the size of Salina.

7. I don’t like Romney either, but he’s sure as hell better than Obama. How have you liked the past 4 years? You think his second 4 years will be better? Get off the kool-aid and wake up.

8. I can’t wait until the election is over. Politics have to be the biggest waste of time known to man.
