1. Rudy Giuliani on Mitt Romney: “This is a man without a core, this is a man without substance, this is a man that will say anything to become president of the United States.”
2. I hope everyone has better luck than I did. I want to the meeting last night at the Bicentennial center. Took my vote yes sign and put it up in front of my small business last evening on the way home and went to work early this morning at 6:45 AM, and it was already gone. So…I hope the other signs stay up.
3. Voters- Please remember, if something should happen to Obama, we get Joe Biden as President to lead the country. He’s an embarrassment to all Americans. Remember, when you vote for Obama, you get them both.
4. Can anyone give a non partisan explanation as to why it matters to vote along party lines for local elections like county commissioner, attorney, sheriff, and others? At the county level, why does it matter? It should be done like how city commissions are done where you vote for the person and not the party.
5. I feel sorry for those people who use of their God as an excuse to discriminate. My God is understanding, forgiving, and loves all; and he does not make junk.
6. You know, the third and final debate was a perfect example of the chickens coming home to roost. Mitt Romney and flip flopped on just about every major position he can have while he’s been running for president. Heck even all the Republican primaries called him a liar And last night, you could tell that when he was being called out by the president, he was incredibly uncomfortable for finally having to answer In a large forum, for all of his lies.
7. Will somebody please explain the Mr genius Mitt Romney- Mr business acumen himself, that the free market system that he loves, It doesn’t lend itself to higher wages. He is more responsible for stagnant middle class wages in this country than President Obama and let me tell you why. His company, the company that was one of the pioneers of outsourcing, have been sending jobs over to china; like Sinsada, that turned a profit last year, but it’s still closing shop and going over to China, paying capital loan. It lowers the cost that employees have to pay, employers have to pay their employees, because there are fewer jobs and more people looking for those jobs. Simple economics.
8. It’s very disappointing to see Mayor Norm Jennings, and Human Relations Commission Lucy Larson, on the front page of the Salina Journal attending their rallies supporting Salina’s anti-discrimination ordinance. Ms. Larson, do you understand the purpose of the Human Relations Commission? It’s to protect people from discrimination. Mr Mayor, do you understand that your religious beliefs are not to interfere with your duties as the mayor? Neither one of you as qualified for the positions you hold in city government. You have openly demonstrated that you will not treat every citizen and Salina fairly and justly. Shame on you.
9. Well our son’s school went on lock down because of another shooter in the town of Salina. Sounds like the NRA is doing a bang up job. Yes, pun intended.
