Being in the Winter of my life, I am too lazy and broke, to put together a “bucket list”. Instead, I would like to finally get some answers to those questions that have bothered me forever.
Since you all seem to be experts on every subject, I hope you can clear up the mystery of these questions.
Since it is football season and World Series season (now over) I have a couple sports questions I have never figued out.
In football the defensive player has 5 yards to knock a receiver on his butt or off his route. Why then do all coaches ignore that? Why does the defensive man choose to run 5 10 20 or 50 yards with the receiver instead of knocking him on his butt?
In baseball the batter is at a disadvantage when it comes to balls and strikes. The pitcher can miss the strike zone 4 times but the batter only gets 3 wacks at the ball. Why then, do the majority of batters take the first pitch? Stats show batters take the first pitch 60% of the time and 60 % of the time it is a strike.
Why are people, who believe in birth control, so against abortion? Isn’t one like the other?
The other day I paid my Cox Bill and had to show an ID. I also had to show an ID at my bank and at a store to use my credit card. I assume (not a good choice of words) that everyone else has to do the same. The question then is, why are so many folk upset because they have to show an ID to vote?
Help!
