Salina Crime Log – Possible Arson

Theft. On October 24th someone took a baseball gear bag out of the back of a truck belonging to Jason Henderson while parked in the south parking lot at Salina Central High School during school hours. In the bag was clothing, bats, mitts and a catchers mask. Loss placed at $800.

Arson. October 27th at 3:30pm someone set a decorative nail keg with artificial flowers on fire at the home of Mary Horn in the 500-block of Venus. Damage was estimated at $113.

Burglary-Theft. Between October 26th and October 27th someone entered the apartment of Jeremiah Gendron at 2140 E. Crawford and took a 32″ Samsung TV, a PlayStation 3 game console, games and controllers, 20 DVD’s and a comforter. Entry believed to have been gained through bedroom window. Loss placed at $1,010.

Burglary-Theft. Between October 23rd and October 27th, someone took a Kawasaki KX-65 dirt bike and a Felt 21 speed mountain bike from a storage shed at the home of Scott Smith in the 900-block of Kenison. Loss estimated at $1,800.
