Construction crews began installation of the new art project on S. 9th St, Tuesday.

Northbound traffic (between Schilling Rd. and Riffel Drive) is being re-routed through the Lowe’s Parking lot and southbound traffic is down to one lane. Installation is expected to be finished this week with the dedication ceremony, Thursday evening.

The project, entitled “Dawn’s Silver Lining” has been the topic of a contentious debate due to the art piece’s final price tag approaching $300,000.
