High Near 57 Today; Above Normal Temperatures Through Rest Of Week

After a cooler, more normal day today, temperatures will steadily increase through the work-week with 70s expected Tuesday through Saturday.

In addition to these above normal temperatures strong gusty south winds will be present Thursday – Saturday. This will cause the grassland fire danger to be very high and even extreme on Saturday.

A strong cold front is expected to move through the area Saturday and it will be the end to the 70s, knocking temperatures back into the 30s and 40s for Sunday and early next week.

  • TODAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 57. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
  • TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. North wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable.
