Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected on Saturday ahead of a cold front.
Some strong to severe storms are possible near the front Saturday evening in central Kansas. Much colder air will invade the area on Sunday, with afternoon highs only in the 40s and 50s at many locations.
The warmer highs across southeast and far east Kansas on Sunday will occur very early in the day, with falling temperatures during for most of the daylight hours.
