SOUND OFF

1. The most important issue in Kansas and Salina right now is not getting enough attention. We need rain so badly. If things stay this dry for another year we are all going to be hurting.

2. It’s amazing to see how many people get arrested for domestic battery over the holidays. Guess family is great as long as it’s in “small doses”.

3. People, stop wasting your money on lottery tickets just because there is a big jackpot. The lottery is just a tax on the stupid.

4. For those who don’t think we need to change unmarked intersections, if it’s so easy for everybody to slow down and take their turn, how about we get rid of half the traffic lights around town? We are all such good drivers, surely we don’t need them. Everybody can just slow down and be careful.

5. It is ridiculous that we have such crazy restrictions on deer hunting. Anybody see how many carcasses were scattered across the highway? How about we stop worrying about these pests and start worrying about all the people that are hurt or killed running into these stupid creatures. Open deer season year round!
