SOUND OFF
1. People, it’s cold outside so make sure you are putting coats on your children before you go out. Just because you’re blessed with an extra amount of body fat to keep you warm, does not mean that your children should freeze. I saw 9 children, 2 were toddlers, with no coats on in the mall parking lot. It was 50 degrees outside! Come on now! It is no longer t-shirt and shorts weather, act like a parent and dress them appropriately.
2. Salina needs a couple of dog parks! At least one would be nice.
3. I feel sorry for all the people that have to stand around or sit on the ground because Salina is too cheap to place benches and shelters at these stops. Some of these folks have kids with them. What if you ” commissioners/law makers” had to do the same? Bet things would change then. I realize that it took Salina decades to get caught up on this issue in the first place, but lets hope it doesn’t take decades to improve it.
4. Honestly, what is going on around here with all the shootings? I don’t recall ever hearing of this many shootings in Salina.
5. The elections are over. I get the feeling some of you are reeling after a defeat. I get wanting to come here and say how the world’s gonna end because your side lost. We get it. However, you know none of these politicians care about you, your family or anyone living in Salina, KS. I promise you that. Give it a rest!
6. I love coming to Salina. You guys have two awesome burger joints.
