1. I cannot believe the audacity of our city commissioners who want to spend over $3,000,000 on lighting for downtown Salina. Where is your wisdom?

2. I’ve discovered the reason this country is falling apart. Instead of paying attention to the rights we are losing, people are too busy watching scripted reality TV and looking at photos of what their friends are eating on Facebook.

3. So, if you believe the government can borrow and spend itself out of debt, then you must also believe an overweight person can lose weight only by eating whatever they want.

4. How did all these crooked people get on the City Commission, County Commission and Planning and Zoning Commission?

5. Why do people want big chain restaurants when you have so many unique places in Salina? I would rather go to Cozy Inn, Bogey’s, The Scheme, Martinellis, than any of the big chains.

6. Got an email from my company’s HR today, if no deal is worked out on the fiscal cliff, my taxes is going up on January 1st. Yeah, our government is sure looking out for the middle class.
