Charles M. “Chuck” Kerth, 57, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 4th.

Chuck was born in Wakeeney, Kansas on January 24, 1955, son of the late Sharon (Groft) and LaVerne  Kerth.

He was a truck driver for Vitran Express.

On February. 7, 1976, he married Geraldine “Gerri” (Sandow) Kerth.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Gerri Kerth; daughter, Kristin Tankard and husband Tyran, of Salina, Kansas; brother, Greg Kerth and wife Tami of Sylvan Grove, Kansas; niece, Baili Kerth of Sylvan Grove, Kansas; granddaughter, Brynlee Tankard of Salina, Kansas; grandson, Kamden Tankard of Salina, Kansas, and many extended family members.

He is preceded in death by 3 daughters, Carrie, Ashley, Megan; his parents; father and mother-in-law, Delmar & Elva Sandow

At the family’s request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 8th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family and sent in care of the funeral home.
