1-3 Inches Of Snow Possible Wednesday Night

Screen Shot 2012-12-17 at 6.24.15 AMThe first measurable snowfall of the season is possible for late Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening.

Portions of Central Kansas, along Interstate 70, has the greatest chance of accumulating snows.

Most of the snowfall will be confined to areas north of highway 50 with a mix of rain and snow possible across Southern and Southeast Kansas. Initial thoughts suggest Central Kansas could see one to three inches of snowfall by Wednesday night.

TODAY: Sunny, with a high near 53. West wind 7 to 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. South wind 7 to 9 mph.
