SOUND OFF

1. Ok maybe I’m a ‘Scrooge’ but I see people begging and scamming for a free Christmas all over but they have money for beer and smokes.

2. Wow what another banner week for the NRA, and Wayne Lapierre. They must be really proud of themselves that they’ve lobbied for hi capacity clips that can hold 90 round in one drum.

3. I cannot believe the way this country wants to get rid of guns. We need more guns in public locations. We need armed security guards. There’s plenty of the veterans out there at the would gladly stand guard at a school to help protect the kids. We need no more gun control. We need more concealed carry permits, so that responsible people can use their guns to benefit society. The problem was a mentally unstable individual that got a gun. If he wanted to harm people he could’ve done it with other things. So, I am definitely against anymore done regulations.

4. This town would be much better to drive in if we got rid of a few traffic lights. Looks to me like somebody thought Salina was the size of Wichita with the number of traffic lights.

5. It’s a sad day to see the discrimination protections removed from the City code. A lot of good people are leaving, and that is Salina’s loss.
