A Salina man reported to police that his white, 2003 Chevy Silverado was stolen Saturday morning while he was letting it warm up.

57-year-old Joseph Douglas said he had gone back inside his home in the 100 block of Baker a little after 8:00 AM, after starting his pickup to warm it up.

Less than five minutes later, Douglas found the pickup had been stolen.

The pickup is valued at $6,000.

Douglas was cited for leaving a running vehicle unattended.
