Paul F. Hederstedt, 86, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, January 8th, at Salina Regional Health Center.He is survived by his wife, Shirley; brother, Don (Gloria), of Huntsville, Ala.; daughter, Cheri (Kurt), of Sharon Springs; two sons, Scott, of Salina, and Jay (Marnie), of Leawood; five grandchildren, Casey (Megan) Rhea, Keith (Ashlee) Rhea, Randi (Nick) Fouts and Emily and Charlie Lang; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Braxton Rhea and Brinley Fouts and Lexi Rhea.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Martha Murchison presiding.

Billy L. Walters, 82, of Salina, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at his home. He was born May 21, 1930, in Salina, the son of Clark and Mildred Mae (Schreffler) Walters.
Mr. Walters served in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. Billy worked for International Milling and then Graves Truck Line, retiring in 1984. He loved fishing, watching basketball and spending time with his grandchildren.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Zaragoza) Walters, in 1981; five brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include his special friend, Arlene McClain, of Salina; five children, Diane Albert and husband Chris, of Berryton, Gordon Ray Walters, Russell L.Walters, Eric A. Walters and Timothy Walters and wife Cheryl, all of Salina; 12 grandchildren, Bryanne, Tony, Ami, Justin, Whitney, Tyler, Jennifer D., Michael A., R.J., Elijah, Alicia and Sophia; and six great-grandchildren.
There will be a vigil and a rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N. Ninth, Salina. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with inurnment to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral or Catholic Charities, in care of Ryan Mortuary.

Gilbert Julius “Bert” Rohr, 88, of Garden City died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Homestead Health & Rehabilitation Center in Garden City. He was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Munjor, the son of Lawrence P. and Katherine (Doerfler) Rohr.
Bert grew up with his family in Munjor, where he attended grade school. He served in the United States Army from October 1945 to February 1947.
On July 31, 1944, he married Edna Marie Wasinger in Antonino They lived in Antonino from 1944 to 1964, when they moved to Salina. Edna died on Jan. 5, 1978. On May 11, 1985, Bert married Rosina Dreher Brungardt in Hays. They lived in Salina until 1988, when they moved to Garden City. They have lived in Garden City since.
A lifetime trucker, Bert worked for Felton Truck Line while living in Antonino and for Graves Truck Line while living in Salina.
Bert was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Garden City, St. Mary Catholic Church of Salina, 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, VFW, Salina Municipal Men’s Golf Association, and the Salina Men’s Bowling Association.
Survivors include his wife, Rosina, of Garden City; son, Lloyd J. Rohr, of Lindsborg; two daughters, Brenda A. Rohr and Linda Cardinal, both of Wichita; five stepsons, Jerry and wife Jeanette Brungardt, Ernest and wife Robin Brungardt, Glenn and wife Evanna Brungardt, Harvey and wife Sherri Brungardt, and Larry and wife Mindy Brungardt, all of Garden City; two sisters, Ruth Pheifer and Esther Ruder, both of Hays; four brothers, Floyd and wife Margie Rohr, of Hays, Vernon and wife Annette Rohr, of Wichita, Walter Rohr, of Florida, and LeRoy and wife Marie Rohr, of Oklahoma; 1 grandchild; 17 step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 33 stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Bert was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna; his parents; two sons, Dale Rohr and Joseph Rohr; sister, Philomena Zimmerman; and two brothers, Elmer Rohr and the Rev. Father Vincent.
Vigil service and rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. a funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Salina, with Father Brian Lager as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Salina, with military graveside rites.
Friends may call from noon-8 p.m. today, and from 9-11 a.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family will be at Garnand Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today to visit with friends. Friends also may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary in Salina.
The family requests memorials be given to St. Mary Catholic Church of Garden City, area hospice, or Homestead Health & Rehabilitation Center, all in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City, or Ryan Mortuary of Salina.
