After a mild Friday with highs in the 50s and 60s, a strong cold front will sweep southeast across the area tonight, ushering in much colder air.

Weekend highs in the 20s and 30s will prevail for most areas.

Additionally, there is a chance of light snow Saturday evening over far southeast Kansas, with light accumulations possible.

• TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 22. Breezy, with a southwest wind 20 to 25 mph becoming northwest 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph.
