Temperatures climbed high enough to set a new record in Salina, Monday.

A temperature of 74 degrees was recorded at 3:53 PM at the Salina Regional Airport.

The previous record of 68 degrees was set back in 1938.

 

• Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. South wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

• Tuesday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. West wind 10 to 14 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Tuesday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 27. North northwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
