355 grams of suspected high grade marijuana from Colorado with a street value of $8,800 seized by the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force with the arrest of a Salina man Friday.

21 year old Cortez Tomas Hernandez was arrested on sale of marijuana and intent to distribute marijuana after the task force executed a search warrant at the home Hernandez lived in the 600 block of S. 11th.

Hernandez had made three sales of marijuana to an confidential informant since December 11th.

A woman who lives in the same home, 21 year old Kelsey Allen was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Drug Task Force Commander Lt. Jim Norton says this is one of several cases of suspected high grade marijuana from Colorado, finding it’s way to Salina.

Norton does not expect any further arrest in the case.
