Norman E. Mann, 69, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was born October 22, 1943 in Salina, the son of Leroy J. and Luclille G. (Larson) Mann, Sr. Norman retired after 40 years from the Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lucille and a brother, Leroy J. Mann, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Linda Mann; three children, Kimberly Mann, Timothy S. (Diane) Mann, and Rebecca J. Russell (Emmett); eight siblings, Larry Mann, Carolyn Gaston, Charles Mann, Gloria Szymoniak, Marvin Mann, Linda Sue Ballard, David Mann and Diane Bethe; nine grandchildren, Demetria (Juan) Garcia, Kendra Oberle, Evan Clinage, Bridgette Oberle, Kristen Mann, Sierra Mann, Lenora Dyke, Penny Dyke and Lindsey Drush; and two great-grandchildren, Julian and Mia Espino.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N Eighth, Salina. Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center or First Southern Baptist Church in care of the mortuary.
