Eight people, including seven under the age of 21, were cited after the Saline County Sheriff’s Office broke up an underage drinking party, where deputies recovered both hard liquor and beer.

The party was being held at the mobile home of 44-year-old Tasha Trout, at 7520 E. Assaria Road. Trout was cited for hosting an underage party and providing alcohol to minors.

Referred to court on citations of underage consumption of alcohol by a minor and turned over to parents were a 12-year-old Salina boy, 15-year-old Lindsey Mullen of Smolan, 16-year-old Jennifer Eyne of Salina, and Victoria Sutton of Salina.

Cited for minors in consumption of alcohol were 18-year-old Erica Ash of Salina, 19-year-old Alexis Sage-Campbell of Olathe, and 20-year-old Danielle Morris of Salina.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said that some marijuana was also found at the party and additional charges for the pot are likely.
