Salina, KS. – The Salina Bombers are proud to announce Michael Reid as the team’s General Manager. Mr. Reid started with the organization serving as an assistant coach and helped with team development when the franchise started.

Michael Reid is a native of Salina, and has coached football for 14 seasons. His coaching experience has been with St. John’s Military School, and also Kansas Wesleyan University. Mike has held positions from special teams all the way to head coach at the high school level, and as a position coach and Director of Operations at Kansas Wesleyan. In addition to the local positions Mr. Reid has traveled the United States with Offense / Defense, a full contact football camp held in the summer. Michael has had the opportunity to coach with NFL coaches and players, along with all levels of college coaches. Michael has spent an 8 year period on the road attending over 25 camps evaluating hundreds of players.

Mr. Reid’s educational back ground is a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Sports Management emphasis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Human Resources emphasis. Both degrees are from Kansas Wesleyan University. He is also a graduate of Tescott, High School. Michael’s immediate family is also in the Salina area.
