The I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force arrested two Salina residents Friday afternoon on several drug charges including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Lt. Jim Norton Drug Task Force Commander says a search warrant was executed at 513 Pine Ridge, The home of 56-year-old David W Clovis and 53-year-old Lisa I Peterson.

4 grams of meth, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, prescription medications of oxycodone, and hydrocodone, a handgun and a couple of shotguns and rifles were seized.

Norton said that Clovis and Peterson were charged with criminal possession of a firearm by a person addicted to use of drugs or controlled substance.

Norton said the arrests stem from a long term investigation, and while there will be no further arrests in this particular case, more arrests are likely as a larger investigation continues.
